| Currently we have two Jungle Safari Packages, where one is within the forest area. This gives you more opportunity to see the wild around you. This also adds advantages for you to experience the wild Nepal while the animals are roaming around you.
Island Jungle Resort. Tiger Camp. This package is for those who are on budget, like the students. They do however get all the safari activities but will be staying overnight outside the forest. You'll find yourself among the wild animals while on the elephant back safari. In the night you may visit the local pub or bar. Island Jungle Resort (Inside the National Park)Getting There Via Surface. A scenic 6 hours drive southwards via the Prithivi Highway for 135 kilometers till Narayaghat followed by 27 kilometers westwards on the East-west highway and finally a short 6 kilometers stretch of dirt track southwards that leads into island Jungle Resort. Via River. It is possible to combine your surface departure together with a white water rafting program of one to three days. The rafting course is one the Trisuli River that runs parallel to the Prithivi Highway. The put-in-points are either from Charaudi or Fishling, which are 72, and 80 kilometers respectively from Kathmandu. Rafting is the kind of exciting outdoor activity to go hand in glove with wildlife adventures. Via Air. Bharatpur, the district headquarters of Chitwan has an airfield with direct domestic flight connections between Kathmandu and Pokhara. There are daily flights to Kathmandu but flights to Pokhara operate only during the peak tourist season although charters are available at anytime of the year. Kathmandu/Bharatpur or vice versa is a 25 to 30 minutes flight while Pokhara/Bharatpur or vice verse takes 15 to 20 minutes. Program The program during your stay at Island Jungle Resort has been designed in such a way so as to make your stay enjoyable but exciting at the same time. However, viewing of wildlife at their best require early morning and late afternoon s which is a matter beyond our control, and guests are advised to comply to the schedule for their own advantage. 2 Nights / 3 Days Tentative Schedule

Tiger Camp (Outside the Park)Standard 3 Night 4 Days Package Tour In 3 night's 4 days standard package tour, your activities are spread to be conducted in a more relaxed manner. However, you can either have jungle drive or whole day jungle walk at extra charge. This package includes welcome drink and orientation, visit to Sauraha Museum, village walk, visit to Elephant Breeding Center, elephant back safari, bird watching-com-nature walk and farewell drink, all meals, accommodation in Machan rooms on stilts 9 with common bath or in standard rooms attached bath) both on double sharing basis. Standard 2 Night 3 Days Package Tour Normally the itinerary will be like this: Pick-up by our jeep and welcome drink. After check-in and orientation, lunch or snacks will be served. After visit to Sauraha Museum and village walk, you will be taken to the community forest for canoeing and visit to the Elephant Breeding Center and back by horse cart. Slide show on request. For dinner Mugalie or Nepali meal will be served. You can relax after dinner listening to the sound of jungle and/or gazing stars. Next morning (on day-2) after early breakfast you start the half-day jungle walk, lunch in the resort and elephant back safari in the late afternoon. After hot shower join campfire and bar-be-cue, tribal culture and stick dance. On the third day morning, bird watching in the very early hours, after breakfast and farewell drinks departure by jeep to bus stop. Lodging in the famous "Bamboo Machan Rooms" on stilts with common bathrooms or in standard rooms attached bathrooms on double sharing basis. Standard 1 Night 2 Days Package Tour In 1 might 2 days package, it will be possible for you to visit Sauraha museum, go for village walk and visit Elephant Breeding Center on the first day if you arrive before 2 p.m. on the second day you can have elephant back safari and if your time permits take 4-5 hours jungle drive in the afternoon (at extra cost) before departing at around 6 p.m. Lodging in "machan" standard rooms (on double sharing basis). This package is ideal for those who wish to take an adventure in the forest at an affordale price, but in an executive way. You will be among One-Horned Rhinoceroses all the time and deers roams your cottage from the dawn of the day. It is likely that you'll encounter Tiger while you go deep into the forest on the elephant back.
