Annapurna I(26,545 ft; 8,091 m), The World's Eight highest peak

Pokhara, Nepal's spectaclular diversity appears at its finest. The deep valleys and high
mountains encircling the giant Annapurna Himal embrace a wide range of peoples and
terrain, from sub-tropical jungle to a high, dry landscape resembling the Tibetan Plateau.
This is the most popular trekking region, attracting over 75% of all trekkers (more than
30,000 annually). It is also among the tamest areas, with excellent lodges lining hte main
routes. Finding Nepal beneath the flood of trekkers can be difficult, but the scenery and
culture are top-notch, and you can avoid the peak-season crush and still get fine weather
and views.
Adventure Makalu announces five classic treks to this reagion, that includes adventure and leisure..
1. Annapurna Circuit, An interesting
trek to this mountain is rare and very seldomly done.
2. Royal Pokhara Trek, Pokhara is the land of lakes and ancient
royalty. Trek for relaxation and leisure.
3. Poonhill Trek, A short trek to view sun-rise, sun-set, and the
burning himalayan mountain in twilight.
4. Adventure Trek, A combination of trek, rafting and leisure. This is a classic one who'd enjoy
various forms of adventure.
5. Muktinath Trek, A pilgrimage to the holy land of Muktinath in the
only desert region of Nepal.
Annapurna Circuit (Sept, Oct, Mid-Nov, Apr, May)
This is one of the classic and most reqarding treks. The trek starts from the lowlandds and gradually passes through thick forest adorned with rhododendron and fir trees as we enter into the desert region of our way to the Manag valley. This trek offers classic view of the Annapurna Range and the Dhaulagiri Range. Besides the mountain views there is a lot of diverese culture to be seen as we start from the domains of Brahmins and Chhetris in the lowlands to the culture of the Managis people who have a distinct culture of their own and are mainly Buddhists. The views from the Torang Pass of the Himalayas and into the Mustang valley are outstanding.

Adventure Trek(Sept to May)
A compact program for all those with limited time. This is one of the most popular trek routes. The trek covers picturesque village of Landrung and Ghandrung upto Ghorepani Pass. An early morning excursion to Poon Hill offers a wonderful view fo the Annapurna Range and the Dhaulagiri Range. This is followed by exciting river rafting trip finishing with realizing stay at the Royal Chitwan National Park.

Muktinath Trek
This trek is a reverse of the latter part of the Annapurna circuit. The trek starts from Pokhara an dpassing through some of the best mountain-viewing spots, reaches the Kali Gandaki Valley. The walk up to Muktinath is then rewarding feast for the eye.
